Description

The exhibition Crafting Fashion for Possible Futures dealt with working methods of fashion designers who deal with socio-political, socio-cultural and socio-economic areas. The curators of the Austrian Fashion Association commissioned us with the exhibition design.

The exhibition took place at the Austrian Culture Forum in New York and spanned five floors with an open staircase. The building is one of the narrowest skyscrapers in Manhattan. To create a pleasant atmosphere and give visitors more space, an exhibition display was developed for the large-scale walls.

The exhibition display structures the rooms in a simple way and forms a stage for the heterogeneous exhibits. Different support elements and pedestals can be variably hooked into the wall rails. The entire display can be easily assembled and disassembled and reused as a system.
